Filling the Frame

For April's Second Friday, Powelton's Photo West Gallery will be presenting a one-night exhibition, "Filling the Frame." A group of widely-recognized Philadelphia-based photographers will be participating. Each will be showing a set of specially created works based on odd frames (outrageous, ugly, beautiful, ornate, multi-image, etc.).

These works will be on sale at modest prices ($50-250) with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the People's Emergency Center. Purchasers of the works will be able to take them at the close of the evening (8:30 pm) or the following afternoon. Music, poetry and refreshments will contribute to an enjoyable event.

Currently scheduled to participate are: Ted Adams, Elaine Crivelli, Maria DiElsi Connoly, Karen Faulkner, Tom Gartside, Talia Greene, Bill Kelly, W. Keith McManus, Stephen Perloff, Laurence Salzmann, John Schlesinger, Blaise Tobia, John Woodin, Ken Yanoviak, Laura Jean Zito.
